Aside from modding, the Digimon community has created many helpful tutorials on how to repair devices. It has also been documented the different parts used by these devices or compatible parts from other devices that may work. Repairs that affect certain devices will also be accessible from that specific device page.

WARNING

Some of these repairs need specific hardware to be obtained, such as timekeepers (or oscillators) and capacitors. Also, some soldering experience will be required, since all the components in the VPets (Aside of the screen) are soldered to the board.
