Digimon Link is a love letter to all Digimon LCD toys. With the goal of making the Vital Bracelet more interactive and bringing more life to the Digimon, Digimon Link adds a rich library of new mechanics and BE features on top of and in harmony with the Vital Hero’s core stock gameplay. It integrates mechanics from traditional care-based V-Pet and Pedometer Digivice lineages into the Vital Bracelet ecosystem. It reintroduces legacy features such as feeding, poop cleaning, time-based dynamic wallpapers, Pendulum battle mechanics, day and night pre-boss Adventure mode encounters, as well as brand-new mechanics and exercise incentives. It also ports extensive functionality from the Vital Bracelet BE and incorporates quality-of-life refinements from the Upgrade Memory and VBBE Mod Roll-Up projects.

  • Type: Feature Expansion & Quality of Life Firmware Modification
  • Platform: Digimon themed Vital Hero Devices
  • Connection: Full NFC functionality
  • Release: May 2025

Warning

To change versions or install updates, the firmware must first be restored to stock using a generated restore file. When installing the Digimon Link patch, a unique restore file will automatically be created and stored on your DIM card. This restore file is not universal and will only work with the exact device and firmware it was generated from. If the restore file is lost or corrupted, your device will remain fully functional but permanently stuck on its current firmware. It is advised to reserve a DIM strictly for installation purposes and not overwrite its contents once the restore file is created. For additional safety, it is also recommended to copy and save the restore file from the DIM to your computer.
